Description:
Ready, set, GLOW! The Wellness Committee at Jones Memorial has joined with Allegany Trails, Inc. to sponsor the 2nd Annual GLOW 5K Run & Walk at Island Park in Wellsville on Friday, May 1. Bring your friends and family together to participate in our unique night event. This is a trail run that is clearly marked with glow sticks and tiki torches, but we encourage participants to bring headlamps or flashlights and be aware of the uneven terrain. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall winners and top male and female winners in each age group. Overall winners will NOT be division winners. New this year…. three prizes will be given to the most festively dressed participants.

Event details and schedule:
• Shirts will be available to participants over 5 years old who register before April 10th.
• Registration opens at 7:30 p.m. at Island Park.
• Run and Walk begin at 8:30 p.m.
• The course begins at Island Park, winds through the Upper Genesee Trail, and ends back at Island Park. Wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain.
• Parking is available at Quackenbush Fields.
• Dress appropriately depending on the weather.
• Yellow Jacket Racing provides the timing.
