Purple Cloth 5K

• Purple Cloth 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• Kid's Dash (10 years and under):- Run 200 Yards

The Purple Cloth 5K and Kid’s 200 Yd. Dash (for kids 10 and under) will take place in Cary’s beautiful Bond Park. The Kid’s Dash will begin at 8 a.m. and the 5K will start at 8:15 a.m. The 5K course is gently rolling, consisting of hard packed wood chip trails, some paved greenway, and some grass, with mostly good footing through the entire course. The Kid’s 200 Yd. Dash will take place on an open grassy field. Kids participating in the Dash will get a finisher’s ribbon! There will be age group awards for the 5K. There will plenty of fun- music, face painting, food, and a jumpie for kids. There will be a supervised kid's area during the 5K so that parents can walk or run while their child is safe and entertained!

The Purple Cloth 5K is being presented by Genesis United Methodist Church; all of the money raised will go to Dorcas Ministries to support them as they help those in crisis with food, shelter, and clothing. We will be collecting canned food and clothing for Dorcas-bring your donations to the race!

After online registration closes on 4/30/2015 you will be able to register at packet pick-up or the day of the race!
