Description

2015 Dale F. Kilwein Memorial Half Marathon & 5K:

• The 1st Annual Dale F. Kilwein Memorial Run takes place on the Crooked Crane Trail around Patterson Lake on the out skirts of Dickinson, North Dakota. This trail will wind around the south side of the lake on Bureau of Reclamation land go through the local golf course around the northeast side of the lake into Lake Patterson Recreation area.

• The trail has been around for many years and in the last year has seen increased traffic. The first 8 miles of the trail will be a mowed trail that will come out on the south side lake boat dock area onto a gravel and paved road. The route continues into the paved cart paths of the golf course across a bridge and onto a gravel road that will take you into the recreation area paved surface. The route is flat to rolling prairie.
