All proceeds go towards a college scholarship fund that 1-3 recipients will recieve at the end of the 2015 year. The scholarship will help fund a students transition from high school to college at High Point High School.

The 1st annual High Point High School PTSA 5K takes place on a scenic route during the height of spring. It starts at the Beltsville Community Center, heading up Little Paint Branch Tail where it meets Montgomery Road, head down Montgomery Rd. towards Sellman Road, take a right onto Sellman road and heads back to the Beltsville Community Center. There is one major hill and a few curves as the course loops in and out of Paintbranch park. You finish the last half mile running down a hill, taking a right on a path lined with trees. The event also includes a t-shirt, post-race goodie bag, and festival complete with live music and vendors.
Day Before Race- Runners and walkers can pick up race packets April 30th or May1st in the main office at High Point High School (3600 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville, MD, 20705) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please bring a form of ID. If you are picking up a packet for someone else you must bring their ID to show.
Day of Race- Registration will be from 1:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m. Please bring a form of ID for check-in unless you have already picked up your race packet the day before. The race will start at 2:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.
What to wear: Anything comfortable. Please check out the weather report the day before to plan accordingly.
Parking info- There will be parking onsite. Please try and car pool if you know other runners as we have a limited number of spots.

Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE. You cannot transfer your bib to someone else or to another event location. By registering for this event, you are accepting this policy.
