Heart of the City 5K

Kick off spring in downtown Los Angeles with the California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC) Heart of the City 5K Run/Walk!

This pet-friendly 5k features a warm-up led by the Laker Girls, a dog costume contest, live music  from AMP 97.1, kid-friendly activities and refreshments.

The Heart of the City 5K is designed to raise funds for, and awareness of the CHMC. The USA Track & Field-approved race is a pledge-based event, allowing participants to raise additional support from their friends and colleagues.

Participants will receive scrub-like race t-shirts and proceeds from the race will benefit the hospital’s foundation.

The race will begin and end in front of the hospital at 1401 S. Grand Avenue, traveling along Grand Ave., 11th Street and Figueroa Street between 7th Street and Venice Boulevards.
