Come out to Belle Isle State Park on Saturday, April 25th for the 6th Annual Charity "Run with the Cops, Not From Them!" The sactioned 10k, 5k races and 1 mile walk/run are sponsored by the Detroit Chapter of For a Day Foundation, which creates emotionally therapeutic experiences for seriously ill children and provides them and their families with a joyful and much needed diverstion from the strain of chronic treatment. 

The 10K race begins at 9:30 a.m.; 5K race begins at 9:45 a.m. and the 1Mile walk/run begins at 10 a.m. 

Early entry fee (before April 17) for 10K  and 5K is $30, after $35; 1 Mile walk/run ealry entry fee (before April 17) $20, after $25.
