The Windmill 5K is a challenging race for any runner.  The course is located atop Bean Mountain in Lempster NH and weaves through the first modern, commercial scale wind farm inthe state of New Hampshire.  Lempster is located approximately 20 miles from Keene, NH and 10 miles from Newport, NH.

This years Windmill 5K will be a dusk run, starting at 5:30 pm.  Plan to stay after the race for the after party!  At the Windmill 5K you can run with the wind!

The course is 5K (3.1 mile) closed course on private property atop the mountains in Lempster, NH.  Rest assured; it's all downhill except for when it's uphill! Start and finish 612 meters above sea level; highest point is 692 meters above sea level and lowest point is 612 meters above sea level.  The course is packed gravel, as shown in the photo above, resulting in trail-like conditions. Trail running shoes should be considered over standard running shoes.
