The Civil Air Partol is proud to offer you a wonderful opportunity to RUN on the RUNWAY! This event will take place Saturday November 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Grand Junction Regional Airport.

Event details and schedule

The Civil Air Patrol Runway 5K will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday November 14, 2015 at the Grand Junction Regional Airport and will conclude once all the runners have crossed the finnish line. Expected completion time for the event is 11:00 AM.  This event is open to all ages and will provide an exciting oportunity to run on the runway. The course map can be found on the Airport's website at gjairport.com. Runner bibs and "day of" registration will be provided at the event, so please, arrive at 9:00 AM to allow for a smooth registration process. ("Day of" registration will be provided at an increased cost of $35 per participant) Runners should wear the appropriate running shoes and clothing for this race. Remember, November in the Grand Vally can be a little chilly, so dress acordingly.  Parking will be available, "free to participants", in the Grand Junction Regional Airports main parking lot, located off Walker Field Drive.
