Description

Please join us for the 2nd annual Run for Wild and Scenic which takes place on a 5 mile stretch of  East Rosebud Creek wihich has been named as an  eligible river to receive  Wild and Scenic Designation by our Federal Government under the 1968 Wild and Scenic rivers Act.

East Rosebud Creek drainage is surrounded by wilderness is about as close to paradise as it gets. US Forest Service found this area eligible for Protection under the Wild and Scenic River Act of 1968 for its outstanding Geologic, Recreational and Scenic values. this area has been threatened by small output hydro dam project several times in the past. We want to make sure this cannot happen again. We seek Wild and Scenic designation which is an act of congress. We came very close last year with bills being introduced in the U.S. House and Senate. Our current Montana legislators all agree this should be done.

We hope you will come to enjoy the beauty of East Rosebud Creek and  support our efforts for Wild and Scenic protection of the East Rosebud.

Instead of tshirts this year we are giving each person who registers a Friends of East Rosebud logo water bottle made by Camelbak,
