3rd Annual Sunset Cove Memorial Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Sunset Cove Memorial Day 5K is a challenging and hilly, but fun 5K that takes you through the Sunset Cove resort on Lake Texoma in Cartwright, Oklahoma.  You will run by two beautiful points overlooking the water.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration: 7:00 - 7:45 AM  (Shirts can't be guaranteed for race day registration).

Packet pickup is avaiable the morning of the race starting at 7:00 AM.

5K will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.

We are having the 1 Mile Fun Run again this year! It is FREE to anyone who would like to participate. You can register here on Active or the morning of the race.

Pancake breakfast FREE to all participants immediately following the race. 

The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin immediately following end of 5K. 

Winners will be announced and awards will be given out after the 1 Mile Fun Run.

We will have extra shirts for sale at $10.00 each on the day of the race. Also, we will have extra SCMD5K logo bags & last year's race day shirts for sale at $5.00 each.

Driving Directions:

From Denison, TX:  Go north across Denison Dam/Highway 91/75A into Cartwright, Oklahoma.  Take left as road Y's and then immediate right on Wilifa Woods Rd/N3620 Rd.  Turn left off of Wilifa Woods Rd/N3620 Rd onto Redemption Road into Sunset Cove Resort.

From Durant, OK: Go south on Highway 69/75 exit towards Colbert, OK/Denison Dam. Turn right on Highway 91/75A. Take a right to towards E Burns Run Rd. Turn right onto Wilifa Woods Rd/N3620 Rd. Turn left off of Wilifa Woods onto Redemption Road into Sunset Cove Resort.

Parking for the event is very limited, please car pool if possible. Upon arrival, parking attendants will be there to assist you in finding a spot and to make sure we use every bit of space we have. Please be patient with this process.
