• The Gansett Half Marathon will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 11am in Narragansett, RI.
• Proceeds from the race will benefit the Narragansett Summer Youth Track Series and the Narragansett High School boys and girls track and field teams.
• The superb UASTF-certified course was thoughtfully designed with the athlete in mind and showcases some of the best of Narragansett: beautiful beaches, ocean views, the Point Judith Lighthouse, and the famous Narragansett Towers (which the runners pass under twice).
• The race host is the Village Inn Hotel, 1 Beach St., Narragansett.
• For runners targeting a November or December full marathon, Gansett will serve as a great tune-up race, allowing you to practice your race pace on a fully supported run, with plenty of water and fuel available, the company of other runners, and a pacer if you want one.
• With an 11am start, even runners traveling from out of town can get a little more shut-eye before hitting the road on race morning.
• And with the summer crowds long departed, getting in and out of town will be hassle-free.
• • •
• USAFT certified Half Marathon (13.1 mile) course.
