Description

What is the Stars and Stripes Warrior Run?  The Stars and Stripes Warrior Run is an event designed to promote and demonstrate patriotism and support for military service members serving at home and abroad, and is organized by the Duce Booster Club, a private nonprofit organization that helps support the members of the Second Air Refueling Squadron and their families located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. This race event will raise funds to support both the Duce Booster Club and the Wounded Warrior Project, a private nonprofit organization that serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. The event will include team and individual race options for a 10K and a 5K, as well as a 1K kid’s run, and will provide additional prizes for racers dressed in the most patriotic attire. All races will take place at the Brendan T. Byrnes State Forest, in New Lisbon, NJ.

This race is the first annual event of this nature. We are very excited to be sharing this event with our Nation's Flag Day holiday weekend! There is nothing we love more than running, supporting our military, and sharing our pride of the Ole' Stars and Stripes! Come dressed in your most patriotic attire, and demonstrate your dedication to "Always Remember and Never Forget" those who have dedicated their lives to protect our freedom, past, present, and future!
