2015 Mt. Baldy Run-to-the-Top:

Mt. Baldy Run-to-the-Top Annual Labor Day Trail Race. September 7, 2015, at 8 am. 7+ miles.

We are also having a 5k from the same start line as the Run-to-the-Top. It ends just below the Ski Lifts at 7,800 feet. The 5K starts at 9 am at the top of Mt. Baldy Rd. The elevation there is 6,000 feet. The finish line is at the Ski Lifts “Notch” at 7,800 ft. It is a timed and sanctioned event and ends at approximately 10:30 am.

There are 4 aid/water stations approximately 2 miles apart, with emergency services on-hand. Parking and a ski lift ride down are included with registration for both events. Finishers for both events will receive a finisher’s medal at the finish lines.

Run-to-the-Top 7+ Mile Run:
• Start line is at 6,000 ft at the top of Mt. Baldy Rd.
• Finish line is on the summit of Mt. Baldy, at 10,064 feet.
• This is a timed and sanctioned race; the clock stops at 11 am.
• The race starts with 1/2 mile on paved road.
• Followed by 2.5 miles on a dirt road.
• The final 3 miles are on a mountain trail.

5K Run:
• The Mt. Baldy 5k starts at the same start line as the Run-to-the-Top.
• The 5k ends at the Ski Lifts Notch, at 7,800 ft.
• This race is on paved road and dirt road only.

• Mt. Baldy is the mountain above Upland and Claremont, CA.
• Drive up from Mountain Ave. or Padua.
• Turn right onto Mt. Baldy Rd. and keep driving up until the road ends.

• Parking for both events is included at the Ski Lifts parking lot.
