• Fun Family Fitness Spooktacular 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

KICK OFF HALLOWEEN WITH A 5K IN COSTUME!!  In 2015, West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department is expanding efforts to increase community and emergency responder physical fitness and outreach. The capstone event will be the FUN FAMILY FITNESS SPOOKTACULAR 5K, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 beginning at 9am. The course starts at our fire station, follows a loop of roads through Woodcock and West Mead townships, and ends back at the station. Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or-for the little ones-even ride bicycles through the course in COSTUME or whatever feels comfortable.  Proceeds benefit the West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Dept.

Check in begins at 7am with the first participants beginning the course at 9am.

Parking is currently located at 20607 Ryan Rd, Meadville, PA 16335. If registrations exceed that capacity, parking will arranged and participants notified.

Same day registrations will be accepted, but t-shirts will be on a first come, first serve basis.

This event is scheduled RAIN, SNOW, SLEET, SHINE, etc. We encourage costumes, but dress in what is comfortable and weather appropriate.

Signed waivers must accompany registrations before beginning the event.
