Sarcoidosis Support Group of Atlanta, have taken the liberty to bring Sarcoidosis Awareness to the communities to the State of Georgia.
What is Sarcoidosis
Sarcoidosis is an Inflammatory Auto Immune Disease that causes inflammation of the body. It can affect the eyes, skin, joints, heart, brain, lungs, liver, kidneys and nervous system.
What Causes Sarcoidosis
The cause of Sarcoidosis is unknown.
Our mission is to enlighten the general public about this debilatating disease. By way of participating in this 5K Awareness and donating to research studies for Sarcoidosis. All proceeds will go to Foundation For Sarcoidosis Research www.stopsarcoidosis.
The course is paved and it will loop you around the lake at Panola Mountain State Park. There is one small incline. You will do two laps around Alexander Lake for 5K Walk n Run.
Take I 20 to Wesley Chapel East make a right as you exit off the ramp. Get over to your left lane. You will make a left at the second traffic light adjuncts from Q.T. on your right. This road is called Snapfinger Road. Snapfinger will turn into 155. Once you pass the first entrance to Panola Mountain State Park. The second left will be Alexander Lake turn left and take Alexander Lake to the very end. You will see a stop sign, go right and turn left into the parking lot.

Be prepared. Wear loose clothing and sneakers that fit properly.
