Missoula Mile

The Missoula Mile has raised almost $25,000 in proceeds in its first five years. Through collaboration with Team-Up Montana and Partnership Health Center, proceeds have been used locally toward prostate cancer awareness, screening and treatment.

Starts at 9 a.m. on Higgins Avenue in front of the Runner's Edge, 304 N. Higgins Ave.

9 a.m. - Elite Race for men and women (qualifying times of sub-5:15 for men and sub-5:45 for women)

9:15 a.m. - Open Mile Run/Walk for men and women (Note - Open Mile may be split into men's and women's heats if total registration exceeds 250 runners.)

9:45 a.m. - Kids and families half mile (free ice cream from Big Dipper at the finish)

10 a.m. - First Responders Mile

Cost: Paid participants in the Elite Mile and Open Mile receive chip timing and a commemorative race t-shirt. T-shirts are available in men's and women's sizing. Women's sizing runs small for this shirt style.

Elite Mile/Open Mile: $20 through noon, May 17th; $25 from May 18th – May 31st.

Open Mile – Galloway & Missoula Marathon Training Class Members: Gets some speed work in as part of your training program . Discounted rate of $10 right up until race day (but does not include t-shirt - an optional race t-shirt can be purchased for an additional $10 fee).

Kids & Families Half-Mile: Free (t-shirt not available)

First Responders Mile: Free (t-shirt included in recognition of your service to the community)

Online registration closes at Noon on Friday, May 29th.

Race day registration and packet pickup is from noon – 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th at RWM office (basement of Runner’s Edge). Race day registration and packet pickup available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at RWM office (basement of Runner’s Edge).
