The 6th annual Puddle Jump 5K/10K Run/Walk/Stroll takes place on a scenic course during the peak of autumn. It starts at the 67th Avenue Trailhead (Horizons Elementary) of the Chehalis-Western Trail, proceeds directly north towards the beautiful Chambers Lake and loops back. The Chehalis-Western Trail, once the historic Chehalis Western Railroad, runs through the heart of Thurston County. It passes through a variety of ecosystems and environments in both urban and rural areas. The event also includes a runners expo, and free participant raffle during the awards ceremony.
So whatever the weather, we’re going to run, walk, and stroll in the puddles in honor of workplace wellness and the PARC Foundation!
The Puddle Jump is put on by the Thurston County PARC Foundation which is dedicated to preserving the vital green spaces of our natural surroundings, expanding and supporting works of art and artists in our community, ensuring all citizens have access to recreational opportunities, and celebrating cultural activity in Thurston County.
