The duathlon will be a run-bike-run format, with distances of 5K (3.1 miles) for each run leg and 25K (15.5 miles) for the bike leg.
RUN: Both run legs will start from the parking lot at Choice and follow the same out-and-back course on city streets. There will one water station on the run course at approximately the midpoint turnaround, as well as a water station at the transition area. The entire run course is flat.
BIKE: The bike leg will be an out-and-back starting from the transition area in the parking lot at Choice. Cyclists will bike a few blocks southwest to Washington Street (Highway 81), then travel several miles south on Washington/Hwy 81 to the turnaround at approximately 7.75 miles, and return the same way back to the transition area. The entire bike course is on paved city streets and highway. There will be one water station on the bike course at the turnaround point. The bike course is entirely flat.

The 5K and 10K run/walk courses have the same start and finish lines as the duathlon, starting and ending in the Choice H & F parking lot. The 5K will be the same course as the duathlon run course (but starting a half an hour later). It is an out-and-back, with one water station at the midpoint turnaround. The 10K will follow the 5K course intially, but will continue on past the 5K turnaround and route particpants onto the greenway for a portion, then back onto city streets looping back to Choice H & F. There will be two water stations available, the first at approximately 1.5 miles, and the second yet to be determined.
