The Cause
The event supports the mission of Community Legal Services (CLS) and Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) to provide high quality, free legal assistance to low-income Philadelphians in areas of critical human need. Combined, CLS and PLA assist approximately 20,000 of Philadelphia's poorest residents with their legal problems each year. This year, CLS and PLA are joining forces with Back on My Feet (BoMF), an organization that uses running to help boose the self-esteem for those experiencing homelessness. Proceeds from the race will be shared amount the three organizations.
