Clean Air Dash 5k

The Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP) invites you to support the third annual Clean Air Dash 5k! The Clean Air Dash celebrates the progress that Pittsburgh has made as a community in reducing air pollution and challenges all of us to continue the fight. While Pittsburgh is often called the most livable city in America, air quality is one area where improvement is still needed. 

We'll race along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail in the South Side, a flat, fast course perfect for novice and veteran runners alike. We encourage individuals of all ages and skills to join us in the event to support our cause.

The Clean Air Dash will begin along S. Water Street in the Southside Works between S. 28th Street and Hot Medal Street. Athletes will proceed to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and head west towards Station Square. Course runs to the 10th Street Bridge where runners will turnaround and head back the same route. Finish line is on S. Water Street. Start/end points and exact course is subject to change. Any alterations will be communicated to participants.

Race will begin/end on S Water Street in the South Side Works.

Make sure you wear your favorite costume too! The 5k begins at 9:30am, please be there by 9:00am for a warm up stretch!

Race awards will go to the top 3 male and female finishers overall and top 3 male and female compeditors in each age category.
