The Cucamonga Challenge is an annual event open to all ages and skill levels sponsored by the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail to promote family, fun, and fitness.The CHALLENGE is a year-round personal fitness goal to "Challenge Yourself" to do something new, different, or stretch yourself in manageable increments to achieve your personal fitness goals. Your Challenge can be anything from 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year time period.... and culminates with the annual Cucamonga Challenge.
2016 marks the 11th annual spring event taking place on the Pacific Electric Trail (P.E.Trail), a multi-purpose public rail-trail path created from an abandoned railroad corridor.
Each participant chooses one (1) event:
- 5K (Timed or Fun Walk/Run)
- 10K (Timed or Fun Walk/Run)
- 35-mile Bike Ride (Not Timed)
- 8-mile Family Fun Ride
- 1-mile Hoofin' & Woofin' Family & Pet Friendly Fun Walk
The 5K & 10K will be on the P.E. Trail while the 35-mile bike ride starts on the P.E. Trail and continues onto the city streets. The streets are not blocked off and all riders must obey
ALL traffic laws. Helmets required.

10:00AM: Lunch
What to bring:
- Dress appropriate for the day
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Extra water/nutrients to hydrate
- Hat, Sunglasses, & SPF sunscreen
THE COURSES:
- 5K - Flat
- 10K- 75 meter elevation change
- 35-mile bike ride: mix of flat and hills on local streets
- 8-mile trail ride: Flat
- 1-mile Hoofin' & Woofin' Family Fun walk: Flat
DIRECTIONS:
From the 210 Freeway
Exit on Milliken Avenue and go south. Make a right on Base Line Road. The community center is on the right side.
From the 10 Freeway
Exit on Milliken Avenue and go north. Make a left on Base Line Road. The community center is on the right side.
From the 15 Freeway
Exit on Base Line Road and go west. The community center is on the right side.
PARKING:
Event registration will be on the North-East side of the park closer to the Milliken Ave entrance. Park legally anywhere inside Central Park.
