Only Fools Run at Midnight - Sitka

• Only Fools Run at Midnight 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

Hold on to your hats for Southeast Alaska's wildest running series, the Only Fools Run at Midnight! Over one thousand runners, walkers and wheel(chair)ers will charge through the streets of Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan at midnight.

Southeast Alaska Independent Living Inc. (SAIL), the organization behind the much loved race, Only Fools Run at Midnight, is passing the reigns to Public Media! SAIL has organized the race to run simultaneously in Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan for over a decade. This year SAIL will help organize the races with Raven Radio in Sitka, KTOO in Juneau and KRBD in Ketchikan. Proceeds will be shared between the organizations during this transition year.

All participants are eligible for prizes and awards for best costumes, wackiest centipede (5 or more people attached in some form or fashion) or just plain fastest. We have plenty of t-shirts for the first 100 to register, and lots of entertainment and food to keep folks wide awake for the midnight run.

Pre-Register by 5pm, Thursday, June 18th online or at any location listed above. 

Race-Night Registration Begins at 10:30pm at the Fire Hall. Bib and shirt pick-up can also be done at this time for those pre-registered.

Costume Judging Begins at 11pm and ends at 11:45pm
