2015 5K AIDS Walk/Run

3.5 mile Walk/Run to be held on October 24 to commemorate 35 years of AIDS.
 
 
HARTFORD, CT - AIDS Walk/Run 2015 will take place on Saturday, October 24 at the MDC Reservoir in West Hartford (1420 Farmington Avenue, Route 4). AIDS Walk/Run 2015 is a fundraiser of AIDS Connecticut. Our theme is: "Nobody With HIV/AIDS Walks Alone". Participants will enjoy music, beverages, snacks, free gifts and awards for top fundraisers and top finishers in the 3.5 mile run.  This year, we will run/walk 3.5 miles to commemorate 35 years of AIDS. 
  
Registration for the run is $20/person. Fast Finishes will serve as the official timer for the run. Awards will be presented to top M/F finishers in the following categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Registration for the walk is FREE with a suggested pledge goal of $35. We encourage both runners and walkers to bring friends and start or join a team. All participants should register online at http://www.aids-ct.org/walk.htm.
 
AIDS Connecticut (ACT), in partnership with its member agencies, improves the lives of people impacted by HIV through care and supportive services, housing, advocacy and prevention.
