Description

The annual Friends and Neighbors in Action 5k Race and Fun Walk, organized by Friends and Neighbors in Action will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Thompson Park in Monroe Township. Proceeds from this years FNA 5K will benefit Mike Nichols and Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Mike Nichols is a senior at Monroe Township High School who was severely injured during a hockey game on January 4^th, fracturing his C5 vertebrate.

He was hospitalized at Morristown Medical Center for five and a half weeks. Mike was transferred to the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Medical Center on February 12^th where he has begun the next stage of the process. Mike and his family face an incredibly long and difficult journey on his road to recovery.

From Route 33 East Slight right toward Prodelin Way (follow signs for Jamesburg/Perrineville) Turn left at Prodelin Way Cross over Route 33 onto Perrineville Road/CR-625 Travel approximately 5 miles, at which point Thompson Park will be on your right (Just past Monroe High School)


From Route 33 West Turn right onto Perrineville Road/CR-625 (first light after Millstone Road) Travel approximately 5 miles, at which point Thompson Park will be on your right (Just past Monroe High School)
