Description

The 39th Annual Apple Festival 5K Road Race will take place on October 10th.  This race is in conjunction with one of the largest arts and craft festival in Georgia- the Apple Festival.  Our race starts on the outskirts of town, looping back to the round-about in historic Ellijay and finishes in front of the school.  The course is certified and is relatively flat.  Walkers and baby strollers are welcome.  There will also be a 1 mile fun run and a tot trot after the 5k.  In addition to the race t-shirt, participants will enjoy lots of post-race goodies.  This is truly one of the best races in this area.
