The Station Camp Winter Guard is hosting a 5k Color Run to raise money for our award winning winter guard. This inaugural color run is to raise money for us to travel to Dayton Ohio and compete in the Winter Guard International World Championship. WGI is the world's premier organization producing indoor color guard. Modern color guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive movement. Color guards can be found in, high schools, middle schools, some universities, and also some independent organizations some of which are related to drum corps. Now entering its 38th year in 2015, the sport continues to evolve and grow. There were more than 36,000 participants at the regional level, and more than 12,000 participants at the World Championships this past April. We are self funded and hard working. Invite your friends and family and plan on having a fun colorful time. If your register before October 28th your $30 registration fee includes one packet of powder paint, T-shirt, and a drawstring backpack.
Station Camp High School is in Gallatin TN, North of Nashville.
