Come and enjoy a non-competitive run or walk in the awesome outdoors at the Pack 64 Great Outdoors 5K Trail Run. The 3.1 mile course is two laps around the Competitive Track Junior loop, a trail that winds through the beautiful Estrella Mountains in Goodyear; appropriate for all ages. There will be water stations, food at the finish and live entertainment. T-shirts and finisher gifts for all participants. Prizes for first three finishers from gun start. Come and support the Cub Scouts and bring some friends for a fun run on the trail.

The trailhead includes a large parking area with port-a-johns. There is a $6 per vehicle park fee which can be paid at the self-pay station at the entrance. The run/walk consists of 2 laps around the 1.6 mile Junior Loop trail. There will be a water station after the first lap and water bottles available after the finish along with fruit. The Cub Scouts will have a gift for each finisher. Along with live entertainment, there will be one or more food trucks onsite.

This event takes place on the Junior Loop trail of the Competitive Track at the east end of Estrella Mountain Park near the Phoenix International Raceway parking lots.
Directions: From I-10, take exit 131 (Avondale Blvd.) south for 6 miles and curve west at PIR. In less than a mile, you will reach Avenida Estrella. Turn south and follow the road through the gate. Turn left and stop at the self pay station to pay $6 parking fee, then continue to single loop road. Turn right and follow it to the parking lot. (lat: 33.3647, long: -112.319)
