2016 Trestle Trek Races

• 25 K:- 15.5 Miles
• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 10 K:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 4 Mile:- Run 4 Miles

Saturday April 16th, 2016 Trestle Trek Races featuring a 25 K, Half Marathon, 10 K and a 4 Mile run/walk. All races will be run on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. All races will cross the famous train trestle 2 times. This old train trestle is Michigan oldest and longest non- motorized bridge which 60 ft above Mill Creek. Trail is all a very fine packed small gravel with a portion of 25 K that is paved. All races are out and back with aid stations and bathrooms provided along route. All 25 K and Half Marathon finishers will receive a large finisher medal at finish. All overall event winners will receive special awards, top 3 in each age division will also be awarded. Parking for the event will be at Avoca Elementary School near start finsh line area. All participants registered by April 2nd will be guranteed a long sleeve tech shirt. Packet pick up will be held at Elite Feet in downtown Port Huron 327 Huron Ave from 10-6 on April 15th. All races will start and finish at trail head in Avoca, each race will start in 15 min intervals begining with the 25 K at 8:30 a.m Proceeds from these events will benifit the Yale high School Cross Country Program.
