Break down the barriers. Be the change you wish to see in the world and do it through DANCE!  Come run (in costume!) and then join a "flash mob" party with able bodied and wheelchair people from our community.  Wear your groovy dance outfit and win the costume contest!  100% of the net proceeds from the race will go to events raising the awareness and quality of life of those in wheelchairs.  Nearly 10% of Portlanders are or will be using a wheelchair in their lifetime.  The isolation from society can be emotionally crippling.  Wheelchair dancing changes lives through the universal language of dance.  Change the life of someone in a wheelchair by dancing to groovy music together and see how it changes yours!  Come and Run or Roll and dance on August 28.
