New Years Duathlon & 5K

• New Years Duathlon :- Run 2 Miles, Bike 6.5 Miles, Run 2 Miles
• New Years 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The New Year's Duathlon and 5K Run/Walk are fundraising events.
Our New Years Duathlon is a great TBF tradition.
In addition to our Duathlon (2 mile run - 6.5 mile bike – 2 mile run) we will also be having a 5K Run/Walk. 

• New Years Duathlon

  
  Run – The 2 mile run course is the same for both legs of the race. The course will run on granite paths, single track trails, and a small section on pavement with an aid station at the start of the run and the half way point. 
• Bike - The 6.5 mile road bike course is on closed roads within Folsom Lake State Park. The course has several turns and twisting corners winding through the oak forest bordering Folsom Lake. Care should be taken on several sharp turns so as not to exceed safe speed limits. 

New Years 5K Run/Walk
This 5 kilometer or 3.1 mile course will be on a mix of crushed gravel sand paths, single track trails through old oak forests, some paved surfaces, and some double wide dirt roads – all with views of the lake and blooming wildflowers. 

Granite Bay State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $12 vehicle charge for day-use or $125 for an annual pass. Contact phone 916 988 0205.
