Do you have what it takes to dash a chilly 5K and then take an icy dip in the Hurricane City pool in the middle of winter? Come and take the Polar Challenge at the Hurricane Recreation Polar Dash and Dip on Saturday, Januray 9, 2016. Dash a 5K and then swim 25 yards in the ice cold pool, Or if you aren't quite up to the full polar challenge, you can solely dash a 5K or take an icy dip. There is also a kid's duathlon with a mile run and a chilly dip in the pool. You'll be freezin' for a reason because proceeds for the event benefit the Hurricane Tigersharks Swim Team. Hot chocolate and tech shirts for all participants and beanies in addition for the full dash and dip participants.
