The Mayor's Ostrich Festival Run

Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny invites you to run the parade route! The Mayors Ostrich Festival 5km Fun Run/Walk is the opening event of the 28th Annual Chandler Ostrich Festival. Fast, flat and fun! What a great way to spend a Saturday morning! The race will take place on AZ Ave following the parade route two hours before the parade begins.

SATURDAY MARCH 5
6:30 a.m. Packet pick up and race day registration opens at Dr. AJ Chandler Park (3 S. Arizona Ave)
7:30 a.m. CUSD Running Club 1.5 Mile
8:00 a.m. Athlete meeting and address by Mayor Jay Tibshraeny
8:10 a.m. All athletes to start line at AZ Ave/Chicago
8:15 a.m. Start of Ostrich Festival 5km Fun Run/Walk
9:15 a.m. Awards presentation
