The 2016 Kauai Marathon - Keiki Run (Saturday)

The Fourth Annual Kauai Marathon Keiki Run presented by Wilcox Health is on Saturday, September 3rd and takes place on the far west side of the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. Registration fees are $15 prior to August 29th and $20 on race day. Each participant is guaranteed a medal and t-shirt if they pre-register before August 29th. On-site registration begins at 8:00 am on race day and the races start at 9:00 am. There is a 100-yard toddler trot for 2-4 year olds, a quarter-mile run for 5-7 year olds and a half-mile run for 8-12 year olds.

9:00 am Keiki Run starts at the far west side of the Grand Hyatt Kauai

Route: 

Toddler trot 100 yard run for 2-4 year olds (parents may accompany their keiki)

Quarter-mile run for 5-7 year olds 

Half-mile run for 8-12 year olds  

Participants run on the ocean side of the Grand Hyatt Kauai through the Poipu Kai Green Belt and back depending on their preferred distance.  Races are run on the grass all led by a chicken!

Age Divisions/Prizes

Age divisions are 2-4, 5-7, 8-12

Commemorative t-shirt and medals are available while supplies last. Everyone is a winner!

Parking

For the Keiki Race, please park in the Grand Hyatt Kauai main parking lot. 

Directions

From the main parking lot, turn right towards the Grand Ballroom and Sports and Fitness Expo.  Walk through the employee parking lot to the west side of the property facing the ocean.  There will be signs guiding you along the way.
