Start your Memorial Day off by coming out to the Freedom Run to run/walk and support No Longer Bound, a 10-month residential program that rescues men from addiction. The May 30, 2016 race offers distances of 10k, 5k, or 1 Mile so there is something for everyone.

No Longer Bound was started in 1983 by founder, Mike Harden. As a former Marine, Mike had returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam (1968-69) with a new battle to fight: a powerful addiction to cocaine. Mike found freedom from his addiction through a personal relationship and encounter with Jesus and received the vision to start No Longer Bound. They rehabilitate men to become better sons, brothers, fathers, husbands, and put families back together again. The gift men receive from No Longer Bound is that of a life FREE from drugs and alcohol.

The 10k course is point to point along a tree-lined road with shade trees. After traversing the rolling hills runners will finish on the campus of No Longer Bound. 5k runners and walkers will move along an out and back course that starts and finishes at Shiloh Point Elementary, and the 1 Mile Run will take place on the track at the school.

Online registration is taking place at active.com or participants can pick up an entry form or register at Totally Running locations. There is a special group rate for teams who register at once.

There are two opportunities for participants to pick up their packets and bib numbers:

Sunday, May 29th from 11am to 6pm at Totally Running, 405 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming
Monday, May 30th prior to the race.

8:00am     10k starts

8:15am     5k starts

9:30am     1 Mile Run starts

Race start times-

10k- 8 am

10k course is a point to point! Enjoy a tree-lined road with shade trees and rolling hills. Finish on the campus of No Longer Bound. Shuttles will be there to take you back to the start line.

5k - 8:15 am

out and back 5k. Pretty flat!! Great for beginners and walkers. 

1 mile - 9:30 am

Packet pickup will be on Sunday, 5/29 from 11-6. at Totally Running, 405 Peachtree Pkwy. Packets can also be picked up on race day. 

Race happens rain or shine. No refunds. Transfers are accepted with a $5 processing fee.
