2016 Beat Beethoven 5k Run:

The Annual Beat Beethoven 5k will be held on April 3rd, 2016 at 9:00am in downtown Fort Collins. The run will begin with Maestro Wes Kenney's baton launching the opening notes of Beethoven's 5th Symphony at the race starting line. The goal is to complete the course before the music ends and therefore "beat" Beethoven (approximately 33 minutes). We welcome all ages and abilities of runners, walkers and music lovers. Proceeds benefit the Fort Collins Symphony's youth education and community engagement programs.
 

The race starts at 5 Old Town Square, Fort Collins, CO. Go east on Mountain Avenue and turn around at Riverside Avenue to then go back west on Mountain Avenue. Turn left (South) on Remington Street and turn around at Lake Street to then go back north on Remington. Turn right (East) again onto Mountain Avenue, turn around at Riverside, and finish going west on Mountain Avenue to Old Town Square.
