Description

WELCOME--"Dick's Sporting Goods" as a partnering Sponsor!!!!  Prizes will be awarded to participants!!!!

The FCRCP, Inc. WELCOMES YOU TO PARTICIPATE in our 5th Annual "Heart & Sole" event (--growing in numbers each year) taking place in the small town of Ford City in Western PA...The event serves as a kick-off to the upcoming "Street Fair" over Labor Day weekend.  The FCRCP THANKS YOU for your support of this ever-growing event suitable for all ages and skill levels with several options for participation!!!!  The course is flat, fast, tranquil, and scenic, taking place in part on the "Armstrong Trail"---This event does not challenge you to the typical hills of PA; the "flat" "all-paved" course allows all ages and skill levels to participate---(**Road Bike-friendly course)...

The event will not only reinforce the importance of an active lifestyle at all ages, but will serve to raise much needed funding and awareness for the Ford City Renaissance Community Partnership in building upon collaborative efforts in this community to fulfilling their mission. Donors give to an organization because they believe that the organization is making a difference in a cause they care about.  Donations (whether product or monetary) are investments in the work that they expect the organization to accomplish. As a newly formed not-for-profit volunteer organization with a mission of fostering a true community renaissance and ushering in a new-found era of community pride and spirit, the Ford City Renaissance Community Partnership has several exciting on-going events in the planning stages, and community support and involvement are of paramount importance in accomplishing this.  This event is only the beginning of many in fostering community pride and regaining community spirit. This event will create many opportunities for Sponsorship visibility and recognition.  Your support of this year’s event will directly serve the community by aiding the FCRCP’s funding of its special community projects (Ford City Choo-Choo restoration, the formation of a community-wide teen action group, lighting display builds, banner brackets, etc.), as well as aid in the support of upcoming and on-going community-wide events, such as the annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas season celebration in the heart of Ford City.
