This is a point to point race in the rural Sandhills of Nebraska. Runners are bused to the starting line, and run into the community of Arthur via a single lane asphalt road. The course is well managed, with water/aid stations every 2-2.5 miles, and porta potties strategically placed throughout the course. Runners are provided with a free meal at the finish line, as well as beautiful finisher medals and long sleeved tech running shirts. This is a chip timed event.
The course covers a few larger hills, along with some flat meadows and rolling hills. It is a challenging course, but beautiful!
Packet pickup is at the Arthur High School from 6:30-7:30 on race day morning. Runners are then bused to the starting line at 8:00.
This is a chip timed event, and runners are suppied with water, Gatorade, and GU gels at the water stations, as well as MnM's and pretzels. This event is greatly supported by the community, and you will find that it's a very fun race, with all the ammenities of a large race!
