2016 Run for the Ocean 5K

Our day kicks off at 9 AM with a unique 5K race that is half on the beach, half on the pavement! Walkers are welcome. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the beach and Route 1A, all to benefit our mission of protecting marine life! Following the race, we'll have a beach cleanup at 10:30 AM. The cleanup is open to anyone - families, individuals, large and small groups welcome. All supplies provided. The fun concludes at 12 PM with live music from Hilton Park!

Prizes will be awarded to:

• Fastest runners in each age group
• The participant that picks up the most litter during the run/walk!
• The participant that raises the most funds for Blue Ocean Society (you'll receive a link to a personal fundraising page when you sign up. This is optional, of course, but participation is much appreciated!)

Participants will be able to pick up bibs on Friday, June 3 in Hampton or on the morning of the race.
