Description
- Barbara Nevins and the Southwest Cafe present the 10th annual Southwest Cafe Margarita Run to benefit the Ridgefield Sunrise Cottage. This festive 5k offers participants great awards and a free margarita while supporting a wonderful community cause.
Benefit:
The Southwest Café Margarita 5K will be donating all net proceeds to the Sunrise Cottage in Ridgefield, Connecticut. TheSunrise Cottage is a residence for members of the community with disabilities. It is part of ARI (Always Reaching for Independence), and devoted to enriching the lives of people with disabilities and their families by enabling them to achieve their fullest potential at home, at work, and in the community.
Race Times:
Race will start promptly at 7:00 PM.
Course Info
• This is a flat and fast USATF certified course. The course is an out and back on South St. Runners will pass behind Union Savings Bank, turning right onto Farmingville Rd., left on Limekiln Rd., left on Lee Rd., and then right onto Famingville Rd., right on Noran's Ridge, around the loop, back out to Farmingville, and left onto the South St. by-pass to the finish.
