Market Street Mile & Ruby Dress Dash Presented by Ruby Falls...

Join us on Saturday, July 9th for the Market Street Mile and Ruby Dress Dash - Presented by Ruby Falls - benefitting Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association! This is an exciting event on a flat, fast, certified 1 mile course in Downtown Chattanooga (Cert# TN 06007DJR). 

There will be a series of racing heats divided by age and gender followed by the Ruby Dress Dash - 1 mile fun run/walk. All ages are welcome!

Event details and schedule

REGISTRATION
Online registration will be available until midnight on Thursday, July 7^th. Paper entries are available at www.chattanooogatrackclub.org and must be received in the mail no later than Tuesday, July 5^th. Please mail accordingly.

Walk up registration will be available on race morning beginning at 6:30 am. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed at walk up registration.

ENTRY FEES
Net proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association – We thank you for supporting this cause! There will be opportunity via registration to make additional contributions. Prices shown are for both the 1 Mile Race and the Ruby Dress Dash.  You may participate in BOTH events for one price. If you’re racing earlier in the morning – plan to stick around & throw on your best Ruby Dress for the DASH!

Both Events
There is no price difference to participate in both – but we need to know who is participating in race heats for timing purposes. If you are participating in a timed head, you MUST be wearing a shoe chip for the race. A shoe chip is NOT needed for the untimed Ruby Dress Dash at 9:45 AM.

Accompanying Adult
All participants on the race course at any time MUST be wearing a bib.

For children 10 & under, parents may accompany them on the course during their timed heat for $5.00 ($10 if you’d like a t-shirt). Parents who are already participating in a timed heat later in the morning may use their own bib when accompanying a child 10 & under – but should NOT wear timing chip on their shoes until their own race heat.

T-SHIRTS
Registrations must be received no later than FRIDAY, JUNE 24^th (online or by mail) to guarantee t-shirt /correct size. Additional shirts will be available but size/quantity cannot be guaranteed to late registrants. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for walk up registrations.

AWARDS
Top (1) Female and Male Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters, Veteran and Wheelchair. 

The top three (3) female and male finishers will be recognized in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.


PARKING
There will be limited free parking for race participants at the Sportsbarn parking deck on Market Street. There are several 24 hour lots as well as parking meters within close proximity of the race venue (near big River Grille). SPECIAL AWARDS
We will give an award to the BEST DRESSED Male and Female in the Ruby Dress Dash – so be sure to wear your FINEST! A panel of judges will be looking those wearing their most fabulous Ruby dresses and the crowd will vote for king and queen of the Ruby Dress Dash by way of cheers... You won’t want to miss it!


POST RACE PARTY
Stick around after your racing heat for the Ruby Dress Dash and delicious post-race refreshments and entertainment… If you aren’t planning on participating in the Ruby Dress Dash - help us choose the BEST DRESSED!
