The 6th Annual Band of Gold 5k and 1-mile Run/Walk support the Mt. Juliet High School Marching Band Program. By registering and participating in our 5K or 1-mile Run/Walk you not only support the program as a whole, but, have the opportunity to support an individual band member by listing their name on your registration form. Thank you so much for helping us achieve our goals and supporting our students.

This year we are offering a “sleep in” registration choice. If you aren't much of an athlete or you just want to catch a few extra Z’s while still being part of the 5K and supporting the Band of Gold, choose this option during registration.

For the last five years we have attracted over 200 runners and spectators. It is a fast, and challenging course and everyone has always enjoyed our well organized event. We hope to see you all there!

Registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:00 pm.

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pickup will start at 6:00 pm. The Back To School Neon Dash begins at 8:30pm with the 1-mile starting shortly after. The 5k is chip timed and the course is a USATAF sanctioned course. The 1- mile is NOT chip timed. Each participant will receive a goody bag and a nice athletic style t-shirt. This year we will have prizes for our 1st and 2nd place male and female overall winners as well as face painting, our fabulous sponsors and lots of family entertainment.
