Description

The Sacramento Survivor Challenge is designed with family in mind. The multiple options to choose from include: 5 mile obstacle course run, 5k trail run, 10k trail run, and family fun obstacle run (designed for children and their parents).

What can you expect from the trail runs? Our trails climb and fall with the natural elevation as they have been artfully cut into the surrounding mountains giving the participants a fulfilling challenge on an elevated platform.

The OCR (obstacle course race) will allow the participants to have fun and be challenged all at the same time. Experiencing this as a team is encouraged but not required, as individuals will have no problem finding that extra hand or encouragement when it is needed. This race will utilize the existing landscape and incorporate many natural obstacles (21) within a 5 mile stretch. Some will test your strength, others your endurance, and a few will challenge your skills and problem solving capabilities.

The Family OCR 1k will give the participants (adults with their children) a taste of the OCR challenge as a family.

What about the downtime before and after your event? You can look forward to many activities that will be available for you and your party to experience. This may include bouncers, paddle boats, pedal carts and more! Plus, plan on staying with us to enjoy a campfire and smores!

Do you need a place to stay and meal to eat at the event? Call our offices at 575-687-3414 for package rates. Meals will begin with a pre-race dinner and end with Lunch on Sunday. Be sure and visit our website at www.sacramentoassembly.org for maps, directions, and more!
