Our President/CEO, Lynne, was invited to the White House last year by the First Lady to celebrate FLIPANY’s partnership model to deliver Let’s Move Cities and Towns in Broward County! FLIPANY partners with over 600 agencies each year to serve over 40,000 youth, adults and seniors. Our high quality health and wellness programs have put FLIPANY on the map as the South Florida experts teaching healthy living from the ground up!
Combining comprehensive strategies with common sense, FLIPANY’s model is about empowering children and parents through hands-on nutrition and fitness activities, imparting useful information and fostering environments that support healthy choices. FLIPANY provides healthier snacks and meals during out of school time, ensuring that every family has access to healthy, affordable food. We also provide physical activity and youth biking programs to ensure kids and adults get moving!
Your involvement is key to ensuring a healthy future for our children. The FLIPANY Fun Run is a beautiful 5K Walk/Run or 10K Challenge that takes place on Hollywood Boardwalk and is a great time for individuals and teams to come together in the spirit of health to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.
This year we are BRINGING BACK AGAIN BY POPULAR DEMAND the PADDLE BOARD event for those who would like to get active on the water. You or your business can help by becoming a participant (run/walk/paddle), team captain, volunteer, committee member, sponsor, fundraiser or just spreading the word. |
