2nd Annual Remembering Gunnar 5K...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 2nd Annual Remembering Gunnar 5K has 4 purposes:

-To Remember Gunnar, we lost him at 12 days old due to Surgery Complications from a CHD (Congential Heart Defect) on 1/31/15. He turns 2 in heaven Jan 19 2017.

-To Raise CHD Awareness; a baby is born with a CHD every 15 minutes. Most states do not require testing before newborns leave the hospital.

-To Raise Funds for GA Baptist Foundation Mutual Fund for PBCF. It is a non-profit organization.

-Encourage an active lifestyle for better health

We will have a Post race refreshments, Vendors, Kid Activities + Bouncy House.

Awards:

Trophies to top 3 male and female

Medals for top 3 males and female in standard age groups.

Cash Awards for first stroller (with child) to cross the finish line, and 1'st Male & Female GA National Guardsman to cross finish line.

Kids Fun Run Starts 8:30AM. DQ Ice Cream for finishers!

Run/Walk will start at 9AM, 3.1 Miles

Scenic course in the country. 1.5 miles to Turn Around point.

Friendly Dogs Welcome.

Parking will be across street in grassy area on Blount Rd.

Bring your ID & Confirmation Emails.

Wear Red or the 1st Annual Gunnar Shirts to show your support for CHD Awareness.
