_ 2017 Goin to the Dogs 5k & 1 Mile:
A fun charity 5k run or walk or 1 mile walk, with or without your dog. 100% of this event will benefit Arizona Adopt A Greyhound, a 501(c)3 charity. Prizes and lots of fun. Open to all ages. All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Course Info
The 5k begins at the Papago Park Softball Field and heads out onto the paved path back behind the Phoenix Zoo along the canal. There is one hill to challenge our runners/walkers and beautiful scenery along the way.
The 1 mile begins at the Papago Park Softball Field and heads up the road for a short jaunt and then turn around and takes the walkers back to the softball field.
Directions
Papago Park Softball Field is on the Northeast corner of College and Curry with plenty of parking at the Arizona Historical Society which is adjacent to the field.

Sign in for the race begins at 7am, race time at 8.
There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
This is not a timed race but a fun run/walk.
