The 4th Annual Love Run, presented by Woodford Plywood, Inc., Lanier Engineering, Inc., and Artesian Contracting Co., Inc. has something fun for everyone!  Join us for a morning of running in the beautiful Lake Park neighborhood and show your LOVE for local families with children battling cancer!  Trophies and medals awarded to the top finishers in each age category in the 5K race.  Enjoy food and fellowship along with great door prizes after crossing the finish line.  Grab your running shoes and join us!

Online Registration ends at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9!!!  Registration after this date will be available at packet pick-up on Friday, February 10, 1-6 p.m. at Wild Side Running Store OR on race day 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Wild Side Running Store. Registration fees are as follows:

5K - $20 through 2/5, $23 2/6 until race day

Candy Mile - $12 through 2/5, $15 2/6 until race day

The 4th Annual Love Run is presented by Woodford Plywood, Inc., Lanier Engineering, Inc., and Artesian Contracting Co., Inc.

The 5K course is fast with rolling inclines and is sure to warm you up on this wintery day!!  Enjoy the serenity of the Lake Park neighborhood and Lake Loretta as you make the loop.  5K race registration includes a Love Run t-shirt and a chip-timed bib for each runner.  Please note: the 1 Mile registration fee does not include chip timing.

The Candy Mile Fun Run, sponsored by Dental Partners of Southwest Georgia, is the perfect course for kiddos 12 and under looking for the fastest route to the finish line! This course will be a candy feast, complete with Candy Fairies to deliver sweet treats! Candy Mile Fun Run registration includes a Love Run t-shirt and a candy collection bag for participants 12 years and under.

Packet pickup is available at Wild Side Running store on Friday, February 10, 1-6 p.m. or on race day until 8:30 a.m.  Registration is available at packet pick-up on Friday, February 10 or on race day 8-8:30 a.m. but will not guarantee a t-shirt. 

Parking is limited immediately surrounding the start/finish line but there is plenty of parking at MSA and Albany Vascular Specialists.  Announcements and pre-race warm-up will begin at 8:30 a.m. in front of Wild Side Running Store.  5K race begins at 9 a.m. and the Candy Mile Fun Run begins at 9:05 a.m.

Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top 5K runners, male and female. Trophies will also be given to the Master runner, top male and female runners over 40, and Grand Master, top male and female runners over 50, in the 5K race. Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 16 age groups in the 5K race. Age groups for the 5K race are: 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
