Love winter 5Ks?  Want to complete your qualification for the 2017 Peachtree Road Race sooner rather than later?  Then come out to King’s Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta on Saturday, February 11 and run the 4th Annual Ridge Run 5K / 1 Mile!   

Our Peachtree Road Race certified 5K course is a loop that starts on the King's Ridge Christian School campus and continues onto Cogburn Road, through North Park to Bethany Bend, right onto Cogburn Road, in the KR back entrance and back through the campus.  The 1 Mile race will start at the same point as the 5K and make a loop through campus back to the same finish as the 5K.  

Individual 5K registration is $30 (will increase to $40 on 2/9).  5K team registration for a team of 4 or more is $25 per team member (will increase to $35 on 2/9).  The 1 Mile run is $20 for ages 11 & under (will increase to $30 on 2/9) and $30 for ages 12 & up (will increase to $40 on 2/9).  There will also be a free Tot Run obstacle course on the football field.  A race shirt is included with a 5K or 1 Mile run registration (guaranteed for registrations through 1/20), and extra race shirts will be available to order during registration for $15 each.  Online registration will be available through 2/8.  Form registration is available through race day.

There will be awards in the 5K for the top 3 overall male/female and masters male/female runners as well as first place in all male/female age groups.  There will be an award for the top teams (by average) in the Lower School, Middle School, High School, and Family categories.  Awards in the 1 Mile will be given to the top 3 overall finishers.

We'll have complimentary coffee and hot chocolate to warm you up after the race.  A Waffle House truck will be on site, so stick around for breakfast as well.  Waffle House tickets are available for pre-sale during registration.  Bring an extra $10 on Race Day to buy a chance to win an Apple watch, which will be raffled after the race!  

All proceeds support fthe King's Ridge Christian School Athletic Association. 

Can't be there on Race Day?  Support the Ridge Run as an Angel Runner!  Register as an Angel Runner to skip the event but still receive the Race Day goody bag, including the awesome Ridge Run race shirt (guaranteed for registrations through 1/20). 

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up will be available on February 10 from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and from 2:00 to 3:30 PM and on Race Day starting at 7:00 AM.

Online registration is available through Thursday, February 8.

Walk-Up registration on the day of the race is 7:00 to 8:00 AM

The 5K and 1 Mile start at 8:30 AM.

The Tot Run will follow both races around 9:30 AM.
