Description:

Join TriToFinish for the first ever Snow Moon Night Trail Run. The Snow moon is a traditional name for the full moon that occurs in February in North America. Usually this month is a time for snow and cold air temperatures, and this is the reason for the name snow moon.

The Race: Join us for the Snow Moon Night Run at Midland City Forest as runners embark on either a 5k (1 lap), 15k (3 lap), or 25k (5 lap) race. Runners completing multiple laps will run through a chute located directly in the middle of the Snow Moon beer tent. Enjoy a beverage as you cheer on those braving the cold night run as they pass through the tent.

The Beer Tent: The Snow Moon Run will be a winter time party, with a beer tent and tap station provided by the Fabiano Bros. Each runner will be provided one beer ticket as part of their registration they can use to enjoy a beverage after the race (Root Beer is available), with extra beer tickets available for purchase for runners and spectators.

  

Event details and schedule

Course Description:  The Snow Moon Run will take place in Midland’s City Forest on the cross country ski trails and mountain bike trails. The trail will be marked with glow sticks for easy trail navigation.  If you are opting for multiple laps, you’ll enjoy cheering from those in the tent as you run directly through the tent. Who knows, you may choose to have a beer on your way through.
