Healthy Hearts 5K

Start and Finish at McAllen Heart Hospital, 1900 S. “D” St., McAllen

Saturday, Feb. 11, Health Expo - 7 a.m. and 5K starts at 8:30 a.m.

Fees: Individual - $20 early/$30 late

Couple (any 2 people) - $35 early/$50 late

Kids aged 5 to 12 - $10

Kids under 5 - FREE

Team of 10 or more: $15 per person early / $20 per person late 

Early Registration Deadline is Friday, Jan. 27 at 11:59 p.m.

Have fun learning how to prevent heart disease and bring someone you love! McAllen Heart Hospital and The Heart Clinic are hosting the Healthy Hearts 5K the Saturday before Valentine’s Day. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association. Bring the family and join us for fun and fitness! Registration will be capped at 700, so register early. Everyone will receive a shirt and participant medal! (This is not a timed event.)

Event details and schedule

Get your T shirt and participate in an interactive heart healthy fair at 7 a.m. race day. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and it is an untimed fun run and walk. Pet-friendly. Stroller friendly. A good time for the whole family. 

Come dressed in red or other Valentine's day themed attire. Show your heart some love! 

Parking is only in designated areas. Signage will indicate where to park. Please do not park in surrounding businesses that have not given explicit permission. We don't want you to get towed! Carpooling is encouraged. As this event gets larger, we may have some parking issues. Arrive early to get a good spot.
