- The Helping Hand Run is a 5k/10k walk and fun run benefiting Hospice of the Valley (HOV), a not-for-profit organization devoted to providing hospice services to meet the special needs of adults, children, and the families of those who are facing terminal illness. The Alpha Kappa Psi chapter at Arizona State University hosts this event to benefit HOV’s pediatric unit for children with life-limiting illnesses. 100% of Helping Hand Run proceeds will be donated to Hospice of the Valley. Money raised specifically benefits pediatric hospice care so families need not worry about rent checks or grocery bills at this unfortunate time but may instead focus love and attention on their family member.

This race is a 5K or a 10K located at Kiwani's Park in Tempe.
